The Office of Catechetics exists to form catechists so that they may faithfully participate in the Church’s mission to “make disciples of all nations.” We strive to prepare catechists who possess a confident knowledge of Church doctrine; who have a proper understanding and skill in right pedagogy; and who are themselves faithful disciples of the Lord.
From the Office
Welcome to the resource site for the Office of Catechetics. While designed and maintained with catechists in mind, this website is for everyone, whether you formally teach the Faith or not. We hope you find this site helpful.
Here you will find recommended resources for further reading about the Faith, links to Church documents, recommendations for notional hours for the Catechetical Formation Program, and links to help you prepare your lessons and inform your heart and mind.
As the Church celebrates the 3rd revised edition of the English Missal, the Liturgy page also provides resources to help us fully enter into the mystery of the Liturgy and understand this continuum of renewal.
May God bless you in your efforts for His Church!
